Shamus Germany, came from humble beginnings. She was raised by a single parent in the city of Stone Mountain, GA before moving to Bossier City, LA in her early preteen years. Graduating from Airline High School in 1997, she decided to work her way up in management with several local franchise restaurants in the Shreveport/Bossier Metropolitan area before taking a leap of faith and opening a catering business, Jacomas Catering, for which she owned and operated for 10 years. Mrs. Germany also owned and operated a restaurant, Jacomas Bistro and Catering for 3 years catering for the City of Shreveport, FEMA, HUD, The Port Caddo-Bossier, The Wild Turkey Federation and celebrates such as Tamela and David Mann and Pastor Susie Owens. Shamus is married to the love of her life Andre Germany Sr and together they have reared two sons, Troshun Jackson and Andre Germany Jr. After three years of shattering goals, not only made by the companies for which she was employed but also shattering her own personal goals; she decided to take another leap of faith and opened The ASG Group Insurance Agency.

My favorite thing to do (other than assisting our clients and staff) is to travel! I love seeing the beauty in nature and experiencing new surroundings!

I obtained my insurance license in about 25 years ago and decided to come back to work in the Property and Casualty area of expertise about 2 years ago. I got into insurance in order to educate communities on insurance and how it can create generational wealth, not only for themselves but for their loved ones!
